Objectives
- To advance the reaction engineering methodology
in scale-up, design and trouble shooting of multiphase reactors
through basic research to achieve environmentally acceptable processes.
Areas of interest to CREL's sponsors are given special consideration.
- To implement and modify reaction engineeering
methodology for new emerging technologies in order to speed up
the commercialization of bench scale data.
- To utilize state-of-the-art control theory,
expert systems and artificial intelligence and advance their applications
in reaction engineering.
- To provide unique educational, research and
contract services in all of the above areas to our industrial
sponsors.
- To offer access to sponsors to the unique experimental
facilities (e.g.CARPT-CT) and to provide assistance with the multiphase
flow model simulators (CFDLIB).
- To offer training to our sponsors.
