Objectives
  1. To advance the reaction engineering methodology in scale-up, design and trouble shooting of multiphase reactors through basic research to achieve environmentally acceptable processes. Areas of interest to CREL's sponsors are given special consideration.
  2. To implement and modify reaction engineeering methodology for new emerging technologies in order to speed up the commercialization of bench scale data.
  3. To utilize state-of-the-art control theory, expert systems and artificial intelligence and advance their applications in reaction engineering.
  4. To provide unique educational, research and contract services in all of the above areas to our industrial sponsors.
  5. To offer access to sponsors to the unique experimental facilities (e.g.CARPT-CT) and to provide assistance with the multiphase flow model simulators (CFDLIB).
  6. To offer training to our sponsors.
